New beginning

Hi!! Thank you so much for stopping by!

This is all new to me but hopefully I won't scare you away with my waffling.

So... I'm Johanna (Jo for those of you who know me already): freelance illustrator, nature lover and crazy hard-worker! Likelyhood is you won't find me in a pub very often (unless it involves good music) but you're more likely to bump into me in the park, by the river, or at the stables. Usually sketchbooking or doing crazy acroyoga stuff with my husband, or covered in hay, mud and horses' hair.

I don't know about you but for me this year is the year of new beginnings. After facing quite a few challenges in the past year I am now ready to start fresh. I have just set up a new studio space in my little corner of London, in a couple of weeks my new card shop will open on Etsy, and in a few months I will fly away on new adventures with an incredibly talented human. (I will tell you more about that very soon... ;) )

Life has a way of being unexpected. Nothing ever works out exactly as planned but in the long run it's often for the best. The last year has been one of the most challenging ones in my life so far. There have been a lot of downs, losses and struggles, but it has also been full of new exciting opportunities and discoveries. I am looking forwards to what's coming next! So to keep you updated and share some of the inside stories of my work I have decided to start a blog. I hope you'll come back regularly! If you have a minute I would love to hear more about you!
