A little bit about me
I was born in 1995 in a little mountain village in the South of France. I grew up surrounded by the smell of ink and linseed oil, both my parents being engravers. I was homeschooled for most of my schooling which gave me time to wander the Pyrenees, with our horses, dogs and sheep, to read quietly for hours, and to enjoy nature. I was also lucky enough to be able to travel to various countries, which allowed me to discover new cultures and to learn English. I studied illustration at Middlesex University in London where I graduated with Honours in 2017.
In 2016 I won the Lanista Partners Ltd competition and was chosen to illustrate The Magistrate's Son, a novel written by Mike Thexton. The book was published in January 2017, followed by a second one, The Warning (Decembre 2017) and a third one, The Westwall Guard (May 2019). The fourth one is on the way...
I have worked with various other publishing companies, including Purple Pomegranate Press and Story House Press, on children's books like The Little Snow Girl (2018) and Black Beauty (2019).
I have also created logos and other design work for companies like Sam Tyson Coaching, Pearl & Jacques and One Thousand Paper Cranes.
These past couple of years my live-sketching and animation work has lead me to work alongside various music artists, including Stu Larsen, Blanco White, Plàsi and Natsuki Kurai.
