Pen & Pipette, publishers of The Brave Fuzzy
Johanna illustrated The Brave Fuzzy, and her work brought this book to life in ways I believe will deeply resonate with readers. Her illustrations are warm, whimsical, and very imaginative — detailed where it matters and abstract in ways that give the book depth. We collaborated through feedback and rounds of edits to bring the vision to life, and she also brought her own style and ideas to the table, drawing on her talent and experience. Her artwork takes this book to the next level, and I am very grateful for the privilege of working with her!
